first impressions

I'm not 100% sold on the spandex nature of the material that was chosen for this jacket. Feels a bit odd to me. I also own the Forager jacket. And with that one too, it's like they both don't know exactly what they want to be ... and how they perform to the weather. To me, they skew more fashionable than functional. The quality of the stitching and build are good and it seems they will both last.

LIVSN

The highland sweater is mostly recycled polyester, while the forager jacket is predominantly canvas. The highland is usually for mid-layer purposes, while the jacket is more outer wear or a light jacket.

We designed both to hold up functionally, so we suggest you putting to the test! Let us know if you have any issues or comments on them after you've had some time with them

Pretty great

This is a pretty great hoodie. I love the color and style. It’s very comfortable, kept me warm down into the high 40s, and has good pockets. The one thing that keeps it from being five stars is the elastic around the hood is designed to leave very little of your face exposed. There’s something to be said for that, but if you wear glasses or a hat, it can get a bit tight. Whether or not that’s a big deal is very much up to the wearer. If you want something that will cover more of your face than a lot of other hoodies, this is a great choice.

Quickly became my favorite jacket

A denser fleece jacket than my Patagonia R2, it works well in even windy conditions. It quickly became my primary jacket. The hood is a nice addition.
