LIVSN Designs is an outdoor apparel company that designs and makes products that bridge the gap between outdoor adventures and everyday life. In an effort to decrease the amount of clothing he owned, our owner, Andrew Gibbs-Dabney, started LIVSN to create versatile, durable, and responsibly-made apparel that would last.

Product Development and Merchandising Intern
LIVSN Designs is hiring a Product Development and Merchandising Intern to work at our office in Bentonville, Arkansas for the 2025 Spring Semester.
Who You Are
The ideal candidate will have previous product development and merchandising experience and/or education. We’re looking for someone energized by design and construction details, responsible sourcing, and consumer communication. This person must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
It’s encouraged, but not required, to be an outdoorsperson so you can personally relate to and speak to our customers about our products. Whether you climb, hike, ride, forage, walk, garden, camp, draw, meditate, backpack, fish, or hunt, we want you to love doing the fulfilling things our customers love and enjoy. If that’s not you, don’t worry. We’ll change your mind.

About the Job
The Product Development and Merchandising Intern will work primarily with the Director of Product and Sustainability to assist in sourcing, design, sampling, product testing, quality assurance, and merchandising. This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to explore different roles in the apparel space and specialize in their favorite(s).
Job Functions
- Hands-on product assessment and quality assurance throughout the sampling process
- Research emerging, innovative materials and contact suppliers about MOQs, pricing, transparency, and other up-front details
- Market research to inform design and marketing
- Contribute to design process of new products through the creation of moodboards, color schemes, sketching, and competitor research
- Assist in organizing fit and product testing initiatives
- Create customer-facing messaging about existing products and sustainability initiatives
- Help keep the design room clean, organized, and inspiring
- Walk/ride to Airship for little treats with the team
