Stylish durable jacket

This jacket is stylish and durable. It's comfortable and easy to move in. The navy is more like a dark navy, the photos on website make the blue seem lighter but it's dark in a good way. Wish there was an inside pocket, but regardless still a great jacket. Feels right at home around the campfire or in the workplace as the style makes it easy to dress up.

Has a much more military styling than is communicated in the photos

When I get men's tops, I generally have to get XXS and the sleeves are still long (men have proportionately longer arms than women do), but the XS fit great, even the sleeves. Articulated shoulders would be helpful for overhead things like splitting wood. Otherwise, it will probably hold up great as a chore coat.

A lot to love about this jacket but I returned mine

I purchased this as a spring jacket. I spend a fair bit of time outdoors, but also planned on it for casual/around town. I love the fabric, build quality, and fit. I'm 6'2" 175 and the large fit great. I really wanted to like this jacket, however I couldn't get around the pockets. There's a lot of them, but none of them made any sense to me. I'm not sure what to do with the chest pockets - they're not easy to access and have a snap that's hard to use. The lower pockets are far back and very deep. I'm not sure I could find a case for what I'd do with the back pocket (which is the only one with a zip). Maybe if I were foraging for stuff and forgot a bag I'd use them? But for every day none of them worked for my phone and wallet. And I couldn't see myself ever using the snap around the collar and wasn't a fan of it just dangling there.

If Livsn does another version of this with a more traditional pocket setup and ditches the snap around the collar (like my Century Jacket) - I'm all in.

Love the fit!

I love the look and feel of the jacket. The size recommender initially told me to get a small but that was too big; sized down for an XS and it fits great. With both sizes I'll say the pocket placement on the side pockets and chest warmer pockets is awkward at best and virtually un-useable at worst. The chest warmer pockets are especially difficult to get to and take a concerted effort to resnap the buttons. You have to reach back to get your hands in the side pockets and wayyyy back to get into the chest warmers. It doesn't feel natural to use either.

Love the giant interior dump pockets, the pen holder, and the breast pocket. Haven't used the rear hidden pocket, but I imagine it'd be good for a soft sided water bottle for a hike or maps or a notebook. Also really like that it feels sturdy, like a proper jacket with the sleeves rolled down and snapped, but you can roll them up easily to cool off and it doesn't look overly bulky.

I want to give 5 stars, but the side pockets and chest warmers are too much of a negative to ignore. Really hope to see a 2.0 of this to address those issues.
