Quality you can feel
These are great pants and the blue color is awesome. They are very versatile. They look good enough to wear to out to a restaurant but flexible enough for a hike. The various pockets (some zippered) and smartly reinforced areas are really appreciated and just give the impression that these are high quality pants. The roll-up legs with button are a nice option too. The fit wizard suggested a 32 for me but since they were sold out at the time I got a 31. I'm pretty skinny (think distance runner build) and they are a bit tighter through the legs than I expected. For me they are still comfortable and functional and they do stretch but if you have muscular thighs or calves you might want to size up since they are a tapered athletic fit. I have a size 32 also (bought used) and they don't feel much bigger so I am hoping the 31's don't shrink. The fabric, while light for Livsn, is heavier than some of their competitors technical pants I have tried (namely Roark and Ketl) which might matter if you live in a very hot and humid climate but if so you probably will be wearing shorts most of the time anyway and wearing the pants inside with AC. Since they are a bit thicker fabric I expect them to be way more durable so it's a trade off. These are currently my favorite pants and I am hoping to pick up a pair of overalls eventually.
