Ventile

We crafted the outer shell with Ventile Cotton: a highly specialized fabric from the UK trusted for its extreme durability and breathability. It was developed by British Intelligence to keep pilots alive in WWII. Ventile Cotton was created to be cool and comfortable in the cockpit, yet warm and impenetrable if it came into contact with water.

An Opening

I haven't used the 100 Jacket yet as it's August in the Bear State and brutally hot. However, I know it will shine like the rest of the Livsn line. I bought a pair of flex canvass as soon as they were for sale. I don't know many pairs of pants and shorts I've (or my wife Holly) bought since then but probably close to 20 or so, and I've not thrown any away, period. As hard as I use them, I've never worn them out. I've used the repair program a couple of times but that was because I ran into a spear or axe head. The only reason I don't have all the ones I bought, is that I lost weight. Those I sold on your sister site. I adopt all the praise you receive in your reviews, but I wanted to focus on the longevity of your clothing and the resulting sustainability. You guys have hit the sweet spot like no other. Lastly, I am super proud that you are in Arkansas and I truly hope other companies follow your lead. Good job and thank you.

PS Don't get me started on your customer service. All I'll say is that it's sublime.

Con - it fits small. Pro - everything else. Once fragile egos get past the quietly internalized fat shaming associated with the petite sizing... this jacket is brilliant. Wool meets Silk. Fashion meets Function. Value meets Quality. LIVSN is American Adventure realized in thoughtfully simple clothing...

Bummed out

I get really bummed out every time I put this jacket on. Ultimately, the fit is just weird. Technically, it 'fits' but kind of in the way a straight jacket fits. The concept is good, but the execution was really poor, and I feel cheated.

Repeat customer who fell in love with Livsn’s approach to design and quality in their products. As has been mentioned numerous times in reviews, solid jacket, quality is evident, good materials with a tailored fit that runs small when compared to other company’s sizing. Love this jacket and look forward to years of good use.
