LIVSN Designs is hiring a part-time retail associate to work at our flagship store in Bentonville, Arkansas.

The ideal candidate will have previous retail and work experience. We’re looking for someone energized by meeting and getting to know new people. We want you to be dependable and have a great attitude about learning and working in this environment. Being able to relate to customers and draw them into the excitement around our brand is paramount. 

It’s encouraged, but not required, to be an outdoorsperson so you can personally relate to and speak to our customers about our products. About the Job

Job Functions:

  • Customer Experience & Sales:

    • Serve as a welcoming, warm, and engaging presence, striving to build personal connections with guests to foster long-term customer relationships.

    • Be a product expert, articulating the intentional designs in our product lines, use cases, and distinguishing features of our product lines versus competing products.

    • Efficiently operate the point-of-sale system (Shopify software and hardware) for processing transactions and managing inventory.

  • Store Operations & Merchandising:

    • Execute daily opening and closing procedures, including store preparation, cleaning, locking/unlocking, and arming/disarming the alarm.

    • Maintain an impeccable retail space by sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing, and continuously straightening up after customers.

    • Keep shelves and racks fully stocked, tidy, visually appealing, and organized for a seamless guest shopping experience.

    • Actively participate in merchandising efforts, including rotating displays, arranging products intuitively, creating compelling signage, and identifying areas for improving in-store operations and the guest experience.

  • Inventory & Administrative Support:

    • Manage backroom inventory tasks, including receiving new stock, processing returns, and maintaining the backstock area.

    • Accurately manage the regular cash till process.

    • Proactively manage inventory, specifically by executing and understanding the procedures for transferring stock between the store and the warehouse. Monitor inventory levels to determine when stock equalization and restocks are required.

    • Identify and report product defects or potential improvements.

  • General Support & Engagement:

    • Be a proactive and engaged team member, seeking out opportunities to have a positive impact.

    • Handle various small company errands and assignments as needed, such as sweeping the walkway, purchasing office/store refreshments, working in-store or outside events, or coordinating warehouse transfers.

    • Troubleshoot/update POS equipment as necessary, seeking assistance when needed.

  • Other duties:

    • Manage and process orders from Treet

      • Our secondhand marketplace for gently used items, ensuring timely shipment of all outstanding purchases.

    • Oversee the Repair Station, specifically managing two key areas:

  • "Add to Well Worn" Bin: Inspect items in this bin and list them on Treet if they meet the required quality standards.

  • "Ready to Ship" Repairs Bin: Verify completed repairs and process these items for outbound shipping.

  • Expect side quests

    • Various errands, assignments, and activities may arise at a small company from time to time. Examples would include sweeping the walkway, buying snacks and drinks for the office/store, throwing in-store events, working outside events for the brand, or picking up and dropping off warehouse transfers.
